Potluck Band Members (Mike, Sally, Jeff) - the Trio

Mike has been performing in bands since 2000 and brings years of  experience and a love of country and southern rock to our group. As a  retired corporate executive from the medical device business, Mike  enjoys sharing his passion for music with the community.

Sally's musical journey began in church, singing her first solo at the  age of 8 years old, and thanks to Mike's encouragement she returned to  singing with renewed enthusiasm with The Potluck Band. Her vibrant  vocals are a signature part of our sound.

Jeff’s rich vocal leads and harmonies help define The Potluck Band’s  unique sound, drawing on influences from country, blues, vintage  classics, and rock.

The sound of banjo and dobro provides a uniqueness to our song selections. Steve has played bluegrass banjo since his college days and has played with several bluegrass bands, including a band he co-founded in the San Francisco Bay Area called One Lane Ahead.

Steve has played in a variety of bands in Nevada County since 1980. He brings energy and creativity to every performance, keeping our rhythm section lively and dynamic.

Wild Bill on Bass adds depth and a  great moving dance beat to our arrangements. Last year he helped rock the Lakehouse Dawgs, but is now beating cool country grooves for The Potluck Band.
